Trader Joe’s Favorites

The obsession with Trader Joe’s is REAL! I’m sure you’ve been before and understand, but if you don’t happen to have a TJ’s near you … well, 1. I’m sorry and 2. I’m sure you’ve seen it all over Instagram and social media! The hype is not a joke – it truly is a magical place ☺ 

A huge reason I LOVE Trader Joe’s, is because unlike the other “healthy” grocery stores, TJ’s is so reasonably priced! Another reason – their products are mostly ALL unique to trader Joes – you can’t get them anywhere else. It makes it so fun to shop around and go up and down the aisles never knowing what you might discover ☺ 

Over the last couple of years shopping at trader Joe’s, I’ve discovered a few products that I now get every single time I go. These are my staples, my go-to’s, and my biggest recommendations. If you ever find yourself in Trader Joe’s, don’t pass these items up! 

Top 5 Trader Joe’s products

  1. Cauliflower Gnocchi – if you haven’t seen this on social media yet, where have you been? But really, this is exactly what it sounds like, its gnocchi made with cauliflower! And it’s delicious! The consistency is so fluffy and soft, but the outside gets super crispy – especially if you sear it on the skillet or cook it in an air fryer!

  2. Japanese sweet potato bags – Japanese sweet potatoes are my FAVORITE! But – they are so hard to find ☹ luckily, Trader Joe’s sells them BY THE BAG! That’s right, I can pick up 5-7 potatoes at once so I’m always stocked! This is truly the way to my heart!

  3. Chocolate meringues – they may not be the “healthiest” option but they are so delicious! Light, airy, and chocolatey. I eat these for dessert almost every night! They also come in vanilla, and peppermint around the holidays, but I am a chocolate girl through and through!

  4. Melodious blend frozen mix – most of the time I cook up my own veggies and starches for a side dish, but sometimes you just need something quick when you’re tired or feeling lazy or just CAN’T. This frozen bag of goodies is my go-to when I need a microwavable side. It’s filled with lentils, green peas, veggies – so many goodies! I highly recommend if you need a quick fix on a week night!

  5. Spinach and kale dip – my one true love! Seriously – this is my all-time favorite dip from TJ’s! I think I’ve tried almost every dip they come out with, and I always go back to this tone! It’s so creamy and I love the huge chunks of kale and spinach throughout it! Yes please!

I know Trader Joe’s aren’t available to everyone, but this was a highly requested item when I sent out a question about what you wanted to see on the blog! Also, I absolutely love parousing through Trader Joe’s and finding new favorites, it’s basically a hobby, so I’m always excited to share these finds with all of you!
