Yogurt toast is a simple, healthy, filling, and satisfying breakfast that only involves 3-4 simple ingredients that you constantly have on hand in the fridge and pantry!
Pecan Pie Yogurt toast is one of the best options for a thanksgiving or fall breakfast! Who says you can’t have pecan pie twice in one day when it comes to the holidays?
This toast isn’t quite as decadent as actual pecan pie, but it hits all the right flavors and also packs in some protein to keep you feeling fuller longer! It also isn’t quite as difficult to make as pecan pie – it only requires a few ingredients and about 10 minutes total, how could you say no?
I wanted to create a yogurt toast for each of the classic holiday pies. Since pecan pie is my favorite, that was of course, the first one I tried. And after this toast was such a success, I of course had to continue on with others like pumpkin pie yogurt toast.

Here’s How to Do It!
The first step is to toast up your favorite bread (I usually use sourdough or this gluten free option). Next, I mix up plain greek yogurt (of course you can use dairy free yogurt if you need to – I’ve linked my favorite brand for you) with a little vanilla protein powder. Once mixed, we top the bread with the yogurt mixture.
Next, you’re going to make the pecan pie topping. It may sound intimidating, but I promise it’s SO easy! You’re going to need about 1/4 chopped pecans, 1 tbsp maple syrup and 1/2 tbsp almond butter – that’s it! Combine the ingredients together until a sticky mixture forms and then pile it on top of the yogurt!
Of course, to make it even more delicious, I went ahead and topped this slice with a drizzle. You can truly use whatever nut butter you have on hand, but my recommendations would be: pecan butter or maple almond butter drizzle for this one. Or maybe even use this pecan pie nut butter!
Helpful Hint: If your nut butter isn’t quite thin enough to drizzle, just add a touch of nut milk and mix together.
Yogurt toast can come in SO many variations (just check out all of my other Yogurt Toast creations for some inspiration). But, if you’re looking for a classic that will never get old, then this toast is simple and made just for you!
