
These OLIVE OIL BROWNIES are just like the box mix brownies you used to eat as a kid, but made at home and completely gluten, dairy and sugar free! WHAT?
How is that possible? To have them taste just like those classic brownies, but with all of these different ingredients?!
Well, I can’t explain it scientifically, but I can guarantee the end result is just as promised! You won’t be able to tell the difference between these and your go to Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker brownies. But at least with these, you know what’s in them, and you will feel SO good eating them!

Here’s what you will need to make them gluten, dairy and sugar free:

Almond flour – this is my go to gluten free flour. It keeps the texture light and fluffy, and is an easy substitute 1:1 with normal flour.

Monkfruit sweetener – this is how I keep my recipes sugar free. Monk fruit is a natural sweetener that doesn’t include any sugar, and therefore isn’t refined or processed.

Olive oil – I use this to keep the brownies moist and olive oil always adds a richer taste to baked goods in my opinion!

All of the other ingredients are staples you should already have on hand: eggs, cocoa powder, baking powder and water! In total, all you need is 7 ingredients, one bowl and a baking dish – doesn’t get any easier!

Olive Oil Brownies
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/3 cup monk fruit sweetener
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1/3 cupcocoa powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- In a large bowl, combine olive oil, eggs and water.
- Add sugar and stir to combine.
- Fold in flour, cocoa powder and baking powder.
- Pour batter into a lined/oiled 8×8 baking pan.
- Bake in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, until cooked through.
- Remove and top with your favorite icing.
