I’ve seen so many marbled bread recipes around, and I’ve always wanted to make one. But honestly, when I started to look at the ingredients list, and what was required, I always got discouraged and said forget it.
But then I thought, what if I could make it easier for all of us? So then I set out on that mission – the easiest way to make the BEAUTIFUL marbled loaves you see all over Pinterest and Instagram?

Surprisingly, this mission was quickly accomplished, and I’m so excited to share the PANCAKE MARBLE BREAD LOAF with all of you!
This version is dairy and refined sugar free, and actually packed with protein thanks to Kodiak Cakes pancake mix. I would highly recommend using Kodiak Cakes – it is my all time favorite pancake and waffle mix, and they have the dark chocolate flavor mix that the recipe calls for below. BUT, if you don’t have access to it already, or don’t want to buy it, your favorite pancake mix will work just fine!

The bread recipe itself is actually only a total of 6 ingredients, because 3 of the ingredients are used in both batters. And the frosting on top, only 3 more ingredients. So all together, to make this fancy looking loaf, you only need 9 INGREDIENTS!
The process is just as simple as the ingredients list. You’ll just need to mix each of the batters in two separate bowls, layer them on top of each other in a loaf pan and bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes. Then remove, let cool and frost!

I’m a big fan of simple, easy to make, and easy to enjoy recipes, and this one fits all the bills! So next time you’re intimidated by a marbled loaf, remember to turn to this recipe and have no fear!
