Cranberry Walnut Chive Cream Cheese

November 19, 2019

All Recipes, Fall Recipes, Savory

Cream cheese dips are so yummy – they can be sweet, savory, or even a marriage of the two! This Cranberry Walnut Chive Cream Cheese is just that – the cranberries add a touch of sweetness, while the chives and walnuts balance it out with some nutty and savory notes.

This dip is also the EASIEST dip to make – all you have to do is mix the four ingredients together! Don’t let the simplicity fool you though – the dip is sure to please you and your guests!

Serve this dip with crackers, carrots, cucumbers, mini bagels – the choices are endless! And we all know everyone loves a good appetizer before the main course! Gotta get those taste buds warmed up – and this dip combo is the perfect way to do it!

Although I didn’t make it this way, you could easily turn this into a vegan option as well – just sub the normal whipped cream cheese with vegan cream cheese and you’re done!

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 package whipped cream cheese

  • 1 batch of chives (chopped)

  • 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)

  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries

Directions:

  1. Place cream cheese in to a bowl.

  2. Chop chives and walnuts

  3. Pour all mix-in ingredients into the bowl with cream cheese.

  4. Fold together until mix ins are fully incorporated

  5. Store in the fridge for at least 30 mins to an hour to let the flavors come together

enjoy!
