Chocolate Coated Donut

Another Mrs. Baird’s classic donut created into a vegan and refined sugar free single serve option!
Prep time: 5 MinCook time: 10 MinTotal time: 15 Min

Ingredients

For the Donut
  • 1/2 tbsp melted vegan butter
  • 1 1/2 tbsp maple syrup 
  • 1 heaped tbsp thick plant yogurt (I used Culina) 
  • 1/2 tbsp powdered “sugar”
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder 
  • 1 1/2 tbsp all purpose flour 
  • 1 tsp baking powder 
For the Chocolate Coating
  • 2 tbsp melted dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp dairy free creamer 

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter and maple syrup.
  3. Add in yogurt and sweetener and mix together.
  4. Next, add in dry ingredients.
  5. Let the batter sit for about 5 minutes.
  6. Pour into an oiled donut mold and bake for about 10 minutes.
  7. Remove, let cool, then toss in powdered “sugar”.
