Caramel Blueberry Blended Oats – the Best Breakfast To Go

Oatmeal is always a great option for breakfast! There’s baked oats, oatmeal bowls, zuchinni oats, overnight oats – the list goes on. But have you ever heard of blended oats?!

Blended oats is basically turning an oatmeal bowl into a healthy milkshake! Who wouldn’t want to eat a milkshake for breakfast?

Caramel Blueberry Blended Oats are an easy, quick, delicious, filling and simple breakfast that is great for kids or adults! They are sweet, but are also packed with healthy ingredients like heart healthy gluten free oats, protein, and antioxidants! They are also a great option for anyone in need of breakfast on the go!

One of my favorite parts about oatmeal recipes is that they are usually very minimal in ingredients. This recipe is no different. The oat “milkshake” only requires 5 total ingredients, and if you want that caramel drizzle on the inside of your cup like the photo’s shown, well that’s only 2 ingredients!

I know I’ve mentioned that these are simple to make as well, but let me tell you just HOW simple! All you have to do is take the five ingredients listed below, add them to a blender, and blend until smooth. Then top with blueberries and some granola if you enjoy that! This breakfast milkshake comes together in no time at all 🙂

And instead of a milk shake, we may want to call this a thick shake. Because, she is THICK! But, you can always thin it out by adding more milk if you prefer! The consistency is totally up to you.

This gluten and dairy free, vegan thick shake is the perfect option for an on the go breakfast! Packed with lots of sweet caramel flavor!

Instructions

For the Caramel Drizzle
  1. Combine all shake ingredients into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Mix caramel in a separate bowl then spread on the inside of a glass.
  4. Pour shake into the glass.
  5. Top with blueberries and granola.
  6. Enjoy!
