Simple ingredients, one mug, no oven, and single serve? This little dessert has it all, and it’s just for YOU! 

BANANA OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP MUG CAKE is here and we love her. 8 ingredients that I can almost ensure you already have on hand, so when you’re in a pinch for dessert, you can easily whip this up and be satisfied!

Dairy free, gluten free and nut free – perfect for literally anyone! And don’t worry, you don’t have to share…but you can always make a second because this cake comes together in just about 3 minutes. Doesn’t get any easier than that!

Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Mug Cake

Singe Serve cake made with minimal ingredients – you could even have it for breakfast!
Prep time: 5 MinCook time: 10 MinTotal time: 15 Min

Ingredients

  • 1/2 banana mashed
  • 1 tbsp egg whites 
  • 1 tbsp plant based creamer 
  • 1 tbsp granulated sweetener (I used monk fruit)
  • 5 tbsp oat flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp oats
  • 1 tbsp chocolate gems

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 
  2. Combine all wet ingredients in a small bowl. 
  3. Once combined, fold in flour and baking powder. 
  4. Add extra oats and chocolate chips. 
  5. Pour batter into an oiled mug or bowl. 
  6. Place mug in oven and bake for 10 minutes. 
  7. Remove, let cool slightly, and enjoy!
