Yogurt toast is a simple, healthy, filling, and satisfying breakfast that only involves 3-4 simple ingredients that you constantly have on hand in the fridge and pantry!
Have I convinced you yet that yogurt toast can come in all shapes and sizes? Okay, maybe not shapes and sizes, but differently TONS of different flavors.
I think my favorite to make are dessert inspired toasts. Because who doesn’t love an excuse to eat dessert for breakfast (not that you need an excuse – eat what your heart desires)!
This came to me as I was going through different candy bars I used to try as a kid. If I’m being honest though, almond joys were never my favorite. Turn it into toast – and I’m in love!
This slice of toast is a quick and easy take on that chocolate candy bar so many love. Chocolate + coconut come together as a delicious pair for this slice of heaven.

Here’s How to Do It!
The first step is to toast up your favorite bread (I usually use sourdough or this gluten free option). Next, I mix up plain greek yogurt (of course you can use dairy free yogurt if you need to – I’ve linked my favorite brand for you) with a little chocolate pudding mix. Once mixed, we top the bread with the yogurt mixture.
Next, you’re going to sprinkle on some coconut. You could always toast it first if you prefer, but for the classic almond joy flavor, keep it raw.
Last but not least is the almond part of the “Almond” Joy. So of course – we go with almond butter for the final drizzle on this slice. The toast just wouldn’t be complete without a healthy drizzle of something, and almond butter is the only option here 🙂
I’ll always say it – don’t be shy with the drizzle.
So again, yogurt toast can come in SO many variations (just check out all of my other Yogurt Toast creations for some inspiration). But, if you’re looking for a classic that will never get old, then this toast is simple and made just for you!
